Why buy recycled?

Caring about the environment is something we can ALL do. By purchasing a Young & Green product, as well as receiving or gifting a lovely blanket or throw made from recycled/reclaimed cotton fibres, you are promoting practices that reduce waste and pollution. Buying one of our recycled products doesn’t mean compromising on quality, nor does it mean you’ll be purchasing at a higher cost. Each of our Bosbury throws re-uses the equivalent of 20 items of unwanted clothing.

• By buying our products you are enabling 100% cotton fibres to be reused, instead of being classed as waste that would be simply left in the ground.

• Using recycled material is more energy efficient than creating products from new material. This leads to lower energy consumption, which in turn leads to less pollution.
